L'Amateur is an exhibition that gives amateur artists the chance to take part in a group exhibition. The participants are challenged to create new work that fits within this year's theme ‘zone’. A jury of professionals from the art sector selected the participating works. The design is inspired by the theme, using the paper of the carrier itself to create a zone within the design. By tearing the paper by hand the zone will be redefined each time. This gesture is very personal, like the artists and viewers can perceive the artworks of this exhibition.
