The Delta Atelier developed step by step. Based on a shared agenda, workshops and conferences will continue to be organised that bring together innovative practices and culminate in collective work programs for the transition of the delta. The visual identity for Delta Atelier centers around a grid of dots. Each dot on the grid being one of the peers of Delta Atelier, changing in size regarding the involvement of each peer in each specific project. This way the identity visualises the involvement and connection between all peers connected to Delta Atelier.

Together, the Netherlands, Flanders and Brussels are part of one and the same unique spatial system in the Rhine, Meuse and Scheldt delta, a densely urbanized area that plays an important role in the global economy. The upheavals and transitions that we face now and in the coming decades will manifest themselves here in their own special way and therefore also require specific spatial strategies. It is therefore logical to work together at this scale level. The Delta Atelier is a knowledge and action platform of equal partners in which more than 50 designers, governments, citizens' initiatives and local organizations come together and work in innovative ways to make the urban landscapes in our joint delta more sustainable. Addressing challenges in the fields of energy, mobility, food, production, care and climate requires that we know how to build connections between the still abstract objectives, policy, knowledge and resources on the one hand and the innovative and realization power of local coalitions on the other.
