Antwerp Art Weekend is an annual citywide manifestation for contemporary art in Antwerp, from established galleries to a brisk pool of upcoming art initiatives. Launched by the platform Antwerp Art, the exhibitional event is aimed at promoting contemporary art as a valuable and essential part of society.
Vrints-Kolsteren focused on the dynamic lines that make up the abbreviations AA (Antwerp Art) and AAW (Antwerp Art Weekend). These lines are used to build an alternating system that scales to different sizes and forms, channeling the supportive role that Antwerp Art provides to every initiative included.
