Circuit is a circular experience center located in the south of Antwerp. It ifunctions as a DIY hub with home, garden, kitchen studios, workshops and a repair café. Circuit aims to encourage a smart use of energy, water and materials. They organize experimental initiatives to implement circular economy into our daily lives, to raise awareness and inspire residents to circular behavior. Vrints-Kolsteren created a playful identity for Circuit by using illustrations to showcase the many disciplines of this meeting center. After distilling greater intention, contrast and colour, a set of symbols were created, highlighting the DIY character and focusing on craftsmanship. These symbols are paired with a soothing set of warm colours that capture a tone that is human, heartfelt and friendly.
